Lens, I believe that you are not unfamiliar with the industry, every day in the mouth, hand have “lens”. Speaking of lens parameters, many people are also handy, refractive index, specific gravity, film, Abbe number and so on. But do you really understand the lens production process? Do you know how many procedures a small piece of lens went through before it reached your hand?
Lens manufacturing is mainly divided into substrate, hardening, coating three modules, among which the number of substrate production steps are many and complicated.
1、Substrate – assembly
According to the mold assembly table, clean qualified mold with sealing rings or tapes in different ways, the use of dust-free production workshop, and cleanliness, must meet the quality requirements of no water, no oil, no dust.
2、filling
The pre-polymerized raw material with a certain viscosity is injected manually or mechanically into the assembled mold from the sealing ring injection hole to check the sealing performance to ensure that the quality meets the requirements.
3、A curing
The filled mold is sent to the curing furnace for heating. Lenses of different specifications are heated according to different curing curves and control procedures. The curing time is also different.
4、mold
After curing, the semi-product is made of glass mould on both sides, and transparent resin lens in the middle. The mold and substrate of the lens are separated from each other, and the blank lens is born in this way.
5、Trim and clean
After separating the blank lens from the mold, trim the edge (because the diameter of the general blank lens is about 4mm larger than that of the required lens). The edge of the trimmed lens is smooth and convenient for later processing. After trimming, the surface of the lens was cleaned by ultrasonic cleaning tank with unreacted monomer and powder from edging.
6、Secondary curing
For secondary curing, the role of secondary curing is to eliminate the internal stress of the lens and the lens surface dressing, so that the surface dent of the lens is more smooth, the last two times after curing of the lens inspection into the library.
7、hardened
Soak through the internal and external surfaces of the lens, alkali treatment, rinsing, water soaking, drying, cooling, cutting hardened, prepare drying order add hard processing, and adopts the hardened liquid is given priority to with silicone, transparent thin film is formed after curing, increase the hardness on the surface of the lens, the film.the coating layer and substrate surface adhesion.
8、Add hard inspection, curing
The hardened lens is sent to the oven for hardening and curing after passing the inspection.
9、coating film
Will be filled with lens chuck into the coating machine for coating, coating purpose is to reduce light reflection, but it is not possible to do no reflected light, the surface of the lens will always have residual color, that is, the film layer color, and after coating the lens radiation, anti-static, anti-scratch, anti-pollution, easier to clean.
